Hedge Cutting

When Can I start?
1st August is the start of stubble field hedge cutting only.
1st September all types of hedge cutting can be carried out.

Who is responsible for roadside hedges?
The land owner is responsible for keeping hedges within a safe maintained level.
There should be an area at least 6m wide from edge to edge and 6m in height.

THE HEDGE CUTTING SEASON ENDS ON THE 28TH FEBUARY. ONLY EMERGENCY CUTS MAY BE DONE AFTER THIS DATE.
