responsibility for,

be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues
beyond our control.
If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any

which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in
which that term is illegal, invalid or
unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the
remaining terms shall survive and continue to be binding
and enforceable.
The failure or delay of Fieldworks UK Ltd to exercise or enforce any right in these terms does not waive
Fieldworks UK Ltd's right to

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales which shall
have exclusive
jurisdiction over any disputes.
Logs sold by Fieldworks UK Ltd remain the property of the company until payment is received in full, we make
no promises that
the materials sold will burn once delivered as it will depend on the condition it is housed in and the
technique used to lay and start, we guarantee
our wood will burn.
Once delivery
has been made it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they are kept in a
dry and stored in a
suitable place.
Payment is on delivery by cash, cheque (supported with a debit card) credit card or by previously-cleared online
transfer.
Prices
are subject to
change without notice.
Delivery will be made at a mutually-agreeable time.
Wood is a
natural
material
and there will always be
variations in dimensions, weights and quality.
Dimensions and weights
shown on
this site are
approximate.
Customers should
satisfy themselves before ordering that the products ordered
are
appropriate for their
particular heating appliance.
If ordering softwood please ensure you are familiar with the characteristics of the timber and that your chimney or
flue is swept regularly, if in any doubt consult your local chimney sweep or us. We take no responsibility for
chimney fires as we take all possible steps to ensure all our softwood is fully seasoned prior to sale. We air season
all softwood logs outside in breathable sacks for a minimum of two years. We will NOT sell softwood before this
period. Once logs have been delivered it it important that they are stacked properly to ensure they dry throughout
reducing the chance of any excess spitting.
If burning in an open fire (not recommended by the company) then please ensure a fire guard is properly fitted and
in place at all times even if in room. We recommend burning softwood in stoves or chimineas.

We accept payment by:
CASH - On receipt of invoice only.
CHEQUE - Send to the Address found on invoice within the terms set out on our invoice. Cheques must be made
payable to Fieldworks UK Ltd and must not be back or forward dated and have the invoice number or confirmation
number written on the reverse (posted payment only). Cheques must be supported by a cheque garentee card.
We hold the right not to accept cheques that are higher than the garanteed amount.
CARDS - We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DINNERS CLUB CARDs only. We
charge a standard 2.75% on all card present transactions and 3% +£0.10 on all card not present transactions. If
a card not present payment is processed due to an error on our behalf or we could not process due to technical
difficulties you will only be charged the 2.75% on those occasions only.
TRANSFERS - Payments need to be supported by a remittance statement or correspondence of some form and
must carry a reference number or our invoice number (reference numbers must be on correspondence.
We are not responsible for any payment lost in the post.
